Shimmy is co-founder and Artistic Director at Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting, home to Ireland’s most successful screen acting courses and workshops including the Full Time Programme for Screen Acting and the Young Screen Actors Academy.

He is also the creator of Bow Street Meets, a web series featuring interviews with leading practitioners in the industry including Richard E. Grant, Oscar Isaac, Saoirse Ronan, Hugo Weaving, Ros Hubbard, Andrew Garfield, Fiona Shaw and many more.

Shimmy is also co-creator of the Actor as Creator scheme in partnership with Screen Ireland.
